LBHC's Clay Gunshows Participates in CNFR By Natalie Stewart LBHC Clay Gun Shows – Team Roping/Heeler. Good Name Caller (Baalasaas itchish), Indian name given to him by his clan uncle, Ralph “Pete” Good Luck. Clay is a second-year student at Little Big Horn College graduating this Spring of 2009, with an Associates in Science under the Natural Resources/Environmental Science Option. He is a member of the Whistling Water Clan and child of the Big Lodge Clan. Clay resides in Lodge Grass, MT. His parents are Dan and Letha (Jefferson) Gun Shows and has two children, Lacey and Caleb. While attending LBHC Mr. Gun Shows was Vice-President during the AY 2006-07 and is currently the Vice-President for LBHC Rodeo Team AY 2008-09. He is a member of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) under the Big Sky Region for Little Big Horn College. Clay is a third- time qualifier for the Indian National Finals Rodeo (INFR) and participated and won the Northern States Team Roping Championship in Billings, MT in May 2008. In 2003, Clay was a junior in high school when he participated in the Montana High School Rodeo Association (MHSRA) and won the 2003 National High School Finals in Farmington, New Mexico. Clay’s header was Zane Hollenbeck from Molt, MT in 2003. Competing in this year's 2009 College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR), his header is Trevor Lytle of Fort Collins, CO. He was also this years 2009 Champion Heeler for the NIRA Big Sky Region. Clay is very outgoing, as well as an outstanding student here at LBHC and though he may have a quiet demeanor, Clay is a remarkable young man with outstanding accomplishments.
