
This program of study is designed for students to examine the historical, political, economic, artistic, linguistic and social components of Crow Indian culture. This major will fulfill requirements in American Indian culture and language, and teacher certification.
The Native American Studies option is designed for students planning to transfer to a four year college. In addition to the study of Native American culture, the major is intended to prepare graduates to work with Indian people, transfer to a four year program in Native American Studies or related field, and/or fulfill the requirements of endorsement of teachers instructing Native American Studies on or near Indian reservations.
